<p><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="color: #0000ff;">PROHIBITED MATERIALS</span></span></strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: medium;">You are NOT allowed to use the following materials or have them with you during the test:</span></p> <h1><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Prohibited Electronic Devices</span></strong><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">&nbsp;</span></strong></span></h1> <ol> <li><span style="font-size: medium;">Smart/digital watches</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: medium;">Tablets, iPad, and e-readers</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: medium;">Any other electronic, recording, listening, scanning, printing or photographic devices (e.g., voice recorders, translators, cameras)</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: medium;">Listening devices and media players (e.g., iPods, MP3/4 players)</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: medium;">Calculators (of any kind)</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: medium;">All wearable technology</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: medium;">Personal digital assistants, beepers, fitness-tracking devices, electronic cigarettes/vape</span></li> </ol> <p><span style="font-size: medium;"><em><strong>Note:</strong>&nbsp;Phones (all kinds) must be placed inside your bag/envelope and must be powered off before the start of the test. You are not allowed to access or use your phones during the test even during their restroom break</em>&nbsp;.</span></p> <h1><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">Prohibited Non-Electronic Devices</span></strong><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">&nbsp;</span></strong></span></h1> <ol> <li><span style="font-size: medium;">Books, dictionaries, printed materials of any kind, blank sheet(s) of paper, etc.&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: medium;">Ink pens or felt-tip markers</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: medium;">Rulers, mechanical pencils, mechanical erasers</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: medium;">Mirrors (of any kind)</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: medium;">Sunglasses, earplugs, hats (hoods may not be worn on the head except religious apparel)</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: medium;">Weapons, firearms, and sharp objects (can be grounds for immediate dismissal)</span></li> </ol> <p><span style="font-size: medium;"><strong>IMPORTANT: </strong><em>The items mentioned above are strictly prohibited during the exam. <strong>Anyone caught violating any of these rules will be disqualified from continuing with the test.</strong></em></span></p> <h2><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="color: #0000ff;">PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES</span></span></h2> <ol type="A"> <li><span style="font-size: medium;">Possessing and/or using of prohibited items inside the testing room or during restroom break</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: medium;">Accepting or receiving anything, including food or drinks, from any person while the examination is in progress</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: medium;">Loitering, talking, or discussing answers inside the room, along the corridor, or inside the restroom while the examination is in progress</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: medium;">Using or having cigarettes/e-cigarettes/vape inside the testing center</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: medium;">Reading aloud or whispering the test item(s)</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: medium;">Taking the test booklet(s), or pages thereof, out of the testing room, as well as copying the test items in any form or manner</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: medium;">Not following the Examiner’s instructions after being warned</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: medium;">Causing damage to test site property</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: medium;">Verbally or physically harassing or threatening any NaMMAT staff or another examinee</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: medium;">Being under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs&nbsp;</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: medium;">Cheating that is depicted by, but NOT limited to, the following:</span></li> </ol> <p style="padding-left: 30px;"><span style="font-size: medium;">a) Looking/glancing or copying from the work of other examinees <br /> b) Attempting to take the test for someone else or having someone else take the test for you at any stage of the examination<br /> c) Allowing an examinee to look at or copy one’s answers<br /> d) Collaborating/exchanging answers with one or more examinees verbally or using any manual signals or electronic device <br /> e) Possessing prohibited examination reference materials<br /> f) Possessing cheat sheet or any written answers on any body part (palm, hand, arm, thigh, etc.), piece of paper, glued in text/sheets of paper of academic relevance, etc.<br /> g) Obtaining test booklet and answer keys beforehand and during <br /> h) Answering the test after the time to stop has been called</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: medium;"><em><strong>IMPORTANT</strong>: <strong>Anyone caught violating any of these rules will be disqualified from continuing with the test.</strong> Further, CEM reserves the right to take all actions—including, but not limited to, banning you from future testing and/or withholding or canceling your scores—for failure to comply with test administration regulations or directions. If your scores are canceled, they will not be reported, and your registration will be forfeited.</em></span></p>
