<p>The NaMMAT is a two-part aptitude test. Part 1 of the assessment evaluates personal and interpersonal traits through statement-based items that reflect characteristics essential for future maritime professionals. This section aims to identify your key strengths, attributes, and personality traits that contribute to success in the maritime field.</p>
<p>Part 2 measures academic proficiency and reasoning skills; the items assess areas that are part of the academic background required of applicants to the maritime course. Most items, except for some recall- based questions, require higher-order thinking skills such as application and analysis. Relevant details are provided in Table 1.</p>
