Marketing Section Head

Reporting to the President and CEO, the Marketing Section Head is responsible for the overall management of the Marketing Section which focuses in the areas of (1) Marketing Plan Development and Implementation, (2) Promotional Mix, (3) Integrated Marketing Communication, (4) Market Research & Business Intelligence, (5) Brand Management (6) Client Management, and (7) Sales/ Volume Performance Analysis. He/she is also in charge of maintaining a strong and consistent brand and in strengthening market leadership through a wide range of online and offline marketing channels.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Prepares and monitors the Sections’ annual plans and budgets
  2. Develops and updates policies, procedures, forms, etc. of the Marketing Section
  3. Keeps a close ear on the ground to understand CEM clients/ markets as a basis for creating product value propositions & develop differentiated messaging
  4. Assigns, leads, and guides a group of technically competent personnel to ensure efficient implementation of marketing strategies
  5. Oversees and approves marketing materials/collateral
  6. Develops and manages marketing plans to meet & exceed revenue & financial health objectives, as well as deliver a winning speed-to-market solution
  7. Deploys successful marketing campaigns and owns their implementation from ideation to executions
  8. Unifies marketing communication elements, such as public relations, social media, audience analytics, business development principles, and advertising, into a brand identity that remains consistent across distinct media channels
  9. Builds strategic relationships and partnerships with key industry players, agencies, and vendors
  10. Leads the data-based strategic thinking, development, & implementation of integrated marketing schemes across products and services
  11. Measures and reports the performance of marketing campaigns

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing; Master’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Five (5) years of experience in marketing and running a marketing team
  • Thorough knowledge and experience in traditional and digital marketing and business writing
  • Strong Competency in Project and Change Management
