While the core of CEM's operations remains its testing program, it has designed complementary programs that make its tests more meaningful to its users. For many years now, CEM has been conducting seminar-workshops in homeroom guidance, classroom test construction, item analysis, data utilization and test interpretation for member schools. These seminar-workshops equip participants with the skills needed to make best use of CEM tests and to use the tools of assessment to achieve educational goals.

CEM is a private and independent institution committed to helping schools know more about themselves through tests rigorously designed by competent staff and consultants from reputable schools.

• Accomplish the Application for Membership form and the Test Service Request form
• Present a plan incorporating CEM offerings with the school's program

Test Administration

CEM has a team of well-trained and highly qualified test administrators. We provide for the test materials which include manual for test administration, test booklets and answer sheets.

Scoring

CEM utilizes fully computerized scoring procedures to ensure fast and accurate processing of test responses in all its tests. This includes the use of answer sheets specially designed for state-of-the art optical scanners that are regularly calibrated to guarantee accurate reading of item responses.

CEM provides your students and your school with in-depth test performance information to help you make critical instructional and policy-related decisions with confidence. Scores suitable for both criterion- and norm-reference interpretation of test performance are reported. These are in the form of Percent Correct Scores, Standard Scores (CEEB Score Scale and Percentile Ranks), and Qualitative Indexes.
