Announcements

Due to the rising costs of operations, effective June 1, 2008, CEM will increase its test fees for the Achievement/ Diagnostic Tests in English, Mathematics, Science and Filipino and Reading/ Pagbasa Tests to P80.00. Fees for admission tests, career guidance tests and special tests will remain the same.

THE 2008 TEACHING EXCELLENCE AWARDS

The Center for Educational Measurement believes that more than anyone else, the teacher plays the most critical role in educational change. And to honor good teaching is to put at center stage the person who has made the development and improvement of student learning his or her commitment and most valuable contribution to society.

Thus, in 2008, to commemorate its 30th year, CEM introduces its First Teaching Excellence Awards.

NMAT goes to South Korea

February 11 and 12, 2007 marked another first for CEM, as this was the first time that the National Medical Admission Test (NMAT) was administered in South Korea. Held at the Chun Ang University in Seoul, South Korea, Ms. Ma. Noreen Manzano, senior program assistant for special projects, administered the test to 11 examinees.

GCHS holds Leadership Conference

On its 10th year, Grace Christian High School (GCHS) led by its principal, Dr. James L. Tan, hosted the Grace Christian Educators Leadership Conference (International), which was held from November 20-22, 2007.
